Beginning in 1994 and continuing to around 2010, Pleasant Company 
produced several series of trading cards featuring all of the 
historical girls. They featured only 
cards from 1994-2001, and in 2002 stickers were introduced. 
The illustrations on the cards came from the various story 
books and short story books for each girl. 
These cards came in card packs containing 10 cards.






























        

        

        






 2009 Series - 31 Cards




 

  

The year 2009 saw the introduction of a new trading card set which includes cards featuring all of the American Girls including the newest girl, Rebecca Rubin. These new trading cards come in card packs containing 12 cards. The 2009 Series cards features 189 cards. Each of the nine historical girls (excluding Samantha) has 16 cards and a checklist card, with Kaya having 30 cards and a checklist, Julie having 24 cards and a checklist and Rebecca having 30 cards and a checklist. With the exception of Rebecca's 31 cards, all of the other 158 cards for the other nine girls are straight reissues of the 2007 Series AG trading cards. The 2009 Series Rebecca set was based on her six books and they included trivia, word scrambles, and more, but the set had no sticker cards.
